Character count. Every Chinese character is counted individually. This total also includes punctuation marks and spaces.
Word count. For Chinese text, the tool identifies words based on character clusters separated by spaces or punctuation. It accurately processes mixed Chinese and English text as well.
Line count. This tracks the number of non-empty lines in your text. Blank lines are excluded from the final count.
Byte count. This displays the total file size in bytes. In UTF-8 encoding, most Chinese characters represent 3 bytes.
Copying text. Click the "Copy Text" button to quickly save your entire input to your clipboard.
Resetting the tool. Click "Clear" to empty the text box and reset all counters to zero.
